The Michigan Lodging and Tourism Association (Check In Michigan) – www.milodging.org, a 110 year-old statewide organization, is the unifying voice for our state’s $22.8 billion dollar hospitality and tourism industries. We are actively seeking a new member to join our team in Membership Sales. This fulltime position will lead the charge in communicating a relevant, compelling value proposition that results in membership growth and retention. The Membership Development Manager will work closely with the Chair of Membership Committee to meet annual sales goals and objectives assigned by Check In Michigan’s President/CEO. Additionally, this position will work with all Check In Michigan staff on membership retention efforts.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys engaging with customers and is willing to travel frequently throughout the state. Excellent negotiation and prospecting skills are a must. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, energetic and able to think strategically. Previous territory management experience is a plus!
